FR. ARMAND D. ROBLEZA, SDB is a priest of the Salesians of Don Bosco. He was ordained on December 8, 1980. His Philosophy studies were combined with a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Education. He went on to finish his Bachelors Degree in Sacred Theology, cum laude, from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila. He later took his studies in Social Communications at the Salesian Pontifical University, in Rome, Italy, and Pastoral Communications at the Ateneo de Manila University.
As a priest he sees himself an architect of the human soul drawing from the designs of God in people’s lives. Too, he lifts from the rich tapestry of his own life-experiences the wisdom of the Spirit that he may share God’s peace and joy to weary souls. This makes him a prophet in the midst of the wild cacophony of everyday life. He is a troubador of the Lord with the music he weaves proclaiming the enchantment of God’s love and his mysterious ways. Yes, like everybody else, he is a fumbling sinner who finds strength and refuge in God’s merciful heart. Friends see him as enigmatic and passionate, serious but humorous, creative in his maverick ways. He presently chairs the Young Adults Apostolate as well as the Office of the Parish Ministry of Don Bosco and is currently enrolled as Honorary Member of the Society for Quality Philippines. |
